Japanese singer LiSA announces birth of first child

JAPANESE singer LiSA, whose husband was caught cheating on her two years ago, has given birth to her first child, reported Sin Chew Daily.

The 35-year-old, who forgave her husband for his affair, announced the happy news on Instagram in Japanese, English and Chinese.

“I’d like to share some personal news. I recently gave birth to my first child. I’m back stronger than ever and so excited to continue making music for everyone. Thank you for all your continued support, and I promise I’ll see you soon!” wrote LiSA, whose real name is Risa Oribe.

During a concert tour in 2021, LiSA’s husband, voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki, was photographed having a clandestine meeting with a fan at a hotel.

He is said to have even brought her to their home.

The woman, who boasted about their exploits online, worked at a recording studio he frequented.

Distraught, the singer took a hiatus from work.

LiSA is well known among anime fans for having written popular songs, including recent hits such as Gurenge in the anime series Demon Slayer.

> China Press reported that a woman in China slept with the headmaster of a prestigious school to secure a slot for her son.

When her husband confronted her, she told him off.

“Stop being childish. As a parent, what does it matter if we sacrifice for our children?” she said in a WeChat exchange with her husband, the screenshots of which have gone viral on Weibo.

When he threatened to divorce her, the woman apologised but was adamant their son stay in that school.
