Don’t hurt us more, say kin of dead children


KOTA BARU: The families of two children believed to have died of heatstroke in Kelantan have asked people to stop speculating about their deaths, which have affected them emotionally.

Yawaree Samoh, 25, who lost her only child – 19-month-old Nur Imani Ahmad Faris Fazli – said the speculations have hurt the entire family badly.

“I still can’t believe I have lost Imani but I need to accept Allah’s will. I only ask that the public stop speculating about my child’s death as it has impacted us,” she told Bernama.

Nur Azwani Alias, 32, the mother of the other heatstroke victim, Muhamad Syamil Akil, 11, also hoped people would stop spreading rumours and negative comments about her son.
