A month of statewide Kaamatan festivities kicks off in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s month-long colourful Kaamatan celebrations has kicked off in the Tuaran district, about 40km from here.

The celebrations of the Kadazandusun, Murut and Rungus communities will be marked across the state with traditional music, dances and games in each district, before culminating with the state-level celebration on May 30 and 31.
