Rescuers free man pinned in car after crashing into utility pole


PETALING JAYA: A driver was pinned in his after crashing it into an electrical pole on Thursday (May 4).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Hafisham Mohd Noor, when contacted Thursday, said that the 50-year-old driver crashed his car along Jalan Bagan Sungai Burung.

A team from the Sabak Bernam fire station was deployed to the scene, arriving at 12.15am Thursday.

"The victim suffered light injuries and has been sent to the hospital.

"It is believed that he had been stuck in the driver's seat for around 20 minutes," he said, adding that the victim did not suffer any electrical shocks.
