Azam Baki reappointed MACC chief for another year


PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Azam Baki (pic) has been reappointed as Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner effective May 12, says Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali.

“The Yang di-Pertuan Agong has approved the reappointment of Tan Sri Azam Baki as MACC chief commissioner for a period of one year effective from May 12," he added.

Mohd Zuki said in a statement on Wednesday (May 10) that the King consented to the reappointment under Clause (1) Article 145 of the Federal Constitution.
