Police initiate second case against mother who allegedly sexually abused own children

PETALING JAYA: Sungai Buloh police have opened another investigation into the woman who allegedly sexually abused her own children.

The suspect was arrested and remanded last week by Kuala Selangor police.

She will be rearrested in connection with another report lodged at the Sungai Buloh police station.

Sungai Buloh OCPD Supt Shafa'aton Abu Bakar, when contacted, confirmed the matter and said the suspect would be rearrested.

"Our case is linked to another case lodged by a 15-year-old girl," she said.

The case is being investigated under the Child Act 2001 for sexual assault.

It has been reported that a man in his thirties was also arrested in connection with the latest case.

Previously, Kuala Selangor OCPD Supt Ramli Kasa said that a video was forwarded to a Welfare Department officer allegedly showing sexual acts between the suspect and her 14-year-old son.

The video is believed to have been recorded last year at their home in Puncak Alam.
