Nibong Tebal MCA raises RM158,000 funds for UTAR Hospital


PETALING JAYA: The Nibong Tebal MCA division has raised RM158,000 for the UTAR Hospital.

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong expressed his appreciation for the funds raised through a post on his official Facebook account on Friday (May 12).

"My heartfelt appreciation to Nibong Tebal MCA for raising RM158,000 for UTAR Hospital.

"Today, I represented UTAR to receive a mock cheque of the amount raised by our grassroots members from its division chairman Tan Cheng Liang," he said.

He added that such donations would support the operation of UTAR Hospital, which offers both modern and traditional medical services.

The mock cheque presentation was also witnessed by members from the Nibong Tebal MCA division.
