Unity meet: 'Knock on the doors' of people’s hearts, Fadhlina tells participants

KUALA LUMPUR: The unity government national convention is an "important optic" for the people to know that it is ready to serve and ensure victory in the upcoming six state polls, says Fadhlina Sidek.

"Make sure to go to the ground to knock on people’s doors and the doors to their hearts," she told delegates at the unity government’s national Women’s convention at the World Trade Centre here on Sunday (May 14).

"Give them the assurance that this is the best and most stable government to bring back their confidence and to rebuild the nation," she said.

The Wanita PKR chief, who was also the Education Minister, said the government was committed to resolving the problems of dilapidated schools, and eradicating poverty.

The convention started with two parallel sessions, namely the Women’s convention and the Youth convention.

A total of 19 parties, mostly from the four major coalitions under the unity government umbrella, convened for the maiden unity government convention on Sunday.
