Anwar wishes a 'Happy Teachers' Day' to educators in Malaysia


PETALING JAYA: May 16 is a date where we remember and honour the services and sacrifices of teachers in building the nation and society, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister, in a Facebook post, also wished all teachers and educators in the country a "Happy Teachers' Day".

"May the knowledge they pour into us humanise us.

"To the teachers who once educated me, your commitment and sweat is highly appreciated. Thanks for the knowledge and devotion given," the Tambun MP added in the Facebook post Tuesday.
