Boy hurt in NSE crash that killed four succumbs to injuries


IPOH: The boy who was in critical condition following an accident at KM310 southbound of the North-South Expressway near Tapah has died, says Superintendent Mohamad Nazri Daud.

The Kampar OCPD said Muhammad Fawwaz Nasaruddin, seven, died on Tuesday (May 16) at 9.20am.

Supt Mohamad Nazri said the boy was sent to the Tapah Hospital earlier following the 2am incident, which saw four of his family members killed on the spot.

During the incident, the car driven by Muhammad Fawwaz's 23-year-old brother Muhammad Azib had crashed into the back of a lorry.

Muhammad Azib, along with their siblings Siti Nur Aminah Nasaruddin, eight, Ahmad Uwais Qorni Nasaruddin, five and mother Azriyani Abdul Latif, 45, died on the spot.
