Sabah assembly meeting to be fully digital

KOTA KINABALU: The four-day Sabah assembly meeting next week will be paperless.

A Digital Conference System has been set up at the assembly hall as the 79 assemblymen will be attending the first session of the assembly for 2023 next week.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor visited the Sabah assembly building Tuesday (May 16) and was briefed on the system that would be used during the assembly session.

More than 70 "touch-screen tablets" had been installed for the use of the assemblymen under the upgrade.

Hajiji was briefed on how to use the system by the Public Works Department electrical engineer Lornetha Daim.

Accompanying Hajiji was Sabah assembly Speaker Datuk Seri Kadzim Yahya and the state assembly Secretary Rafidah Maqbool Rahman.
