KK Fire and Rescue Dept unlocks gate to retrieve woman’s body


KOTA KINABALU: The Fire and Rescue Department helped open a locked gate to retrieve a body of a woman inside a house here on Thursday (May 18).

According to the department, they responded and went to the residential area at Likas after receiving a report at 4.24pm.

“The hospital called for assistance to open the locked gate to retrieve the body of a deceased woman inside the house.

“The team proceeded to open the gate using special tools and helped carry the body out, and handed it over to the ambulance for further action.

“The operation ended at 4.45pm,” said a department spokesman, adding that no information was obtained about the deceased woman.
