PETALING JAYA: Even though there are only two days left in the Syawal month, the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration continues.

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said on Syawal 28, the celebration was still felt with much excitement and gratitude, on his Facebook post.

The Yong Peng assembly Aidilfitri Open House organised by his Ayer Hitam MP Service Centre and Yong Peng assemblyman Ling Tian Soon on Friday (May 19) was also no exception as it was lively with the presence of guests from all races

During the event, Wee also presented contributions to 18 Yong Peng residents, who will be performing their Haj this year.

Later, Wee headed to another Hari Raya function at Masjid Kg Olak Batu in Johor, where he was tempted to eat it all after looking at all the delicious dishes.

"Even though it was a modest event, the celebration was still meaningful and festive. Truly blessed," he said as he interacted with the locals.

He also announced the application from the mosque committee to install fans in the Al-Muttaqin Masjid Kg. Olak Batu open hall had been approved.

He hoped the approval of the fans would bring more comfort to the people there.
