Perikatan to continue using same logo for polls in four states, says Muhyiddin

MUAR: Perikatan Nasional will continue to use its existing logo in the upcoming state polls in Penang, Selangor, Negri Sembilan and Kedah, says its chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

He said they were still waiting on the final decision from Kelantan and Terengganu.

"We have been using it (the logo) and PAS also used the same logo in Kedah. PAS hasn't asked for it to be changed.

"It is also fine if Kelantan and Terengganu want to use the PAS logo since the people already know about Perikatan,

He added that all coalition parties were in good terms.

"It (the relationship) has actually improved compared with the last general election," he said on Saturday (May 20) at a press conference at the Pagoh parliamentary and the Bukit Kepong state constituencies' Aidilfitri do at the Pagoh Sports Complex, which was also attended by Bukit Kepong assemblyman Datuk Seri Dr Sahruddin Jamal.

Muhyiddin also said the upcoming state elections would serve as an indicator of the future direction of the country's politics. – Bernama
