FORMER health minister Khairy Jamaluddin’s contract as a Hot FM deejay has been extended to the end of the year, reported Harian Metro.

The radio station’s director Shah Hayatudin said Khairy would stay on the air every Monday at 7am.

“We have added another hour to his segment,” he added.

Khairy said he was thankful for the encouragement given to him.

> YouTube couple Ryzal Ibrahim and Maryam Younare, better known as Durian Kimchi, were surprised to hear that they had been nominated for the Content Creator Popular award for the 35th Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian (ABPBH 35).

According to Berita Harian, the couple said they first started creating online content for fun.

“Win or lose, we will leave it to the fans to decide,” the couple said when met at the launch of ABPBH 35 at the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station recently.

The pair recently made a controversial video which seemed to poke fun at the lower income community.

Ryzal, 31, said his intention for creating the video was not to insult anyone, but to educate the people.

“I am not afraid of losing fans because God knows we had good intention making it. We do not owe anyone an apology.

“The video portrays a fact of life and is intended to spread awareness among the people; maybe those who felt offended did not get the humour behind it,” he added.
