KJ to decide on Bersatu invitation soon

KUALA LUMPUR: Khairy Jamaluddin will end the guessing game soon on whether he will take up the offer to join Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu).

"I do believe that it is unfair for me to keep people waiting for too long, so I will make an announcement in due course.

"It will be not too long before I convey my decision to TSYM. (Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin)," he told reporters when met after attending a forum "Designing The Future-What is Next For Malaysia" organised by UCSI University on Thursday (May 25).

He was responding to Bersatu deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu's advice on Wednesday (May 24) to not delay his decision on whether to accept the offer to join Bersatu because "time waits for no man".

Last week, Muhyiddin, who is also Perikatan Nasional chairman, said that Khairy was offered a Bersatu supreme council post if he joined the party.
