Unity govt's invitation to PAS a 'fairy tale', says Nga

SABAK BERNAM: No senior government leaders had ever invited PAS to join the unity government, says Nga Kor Ming.

The Local Government Development Minister and DAP vice-chairman said that the Cabinet had never discussed the matter.

"So, I don't know where PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang came up with the fairy tale (cerita dongeng).

"That's my answer," he said during the press conference on Wednesday (May 31) after conducting a work tour around Sekinchan Town.

PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man's statement that several parties had contacted and met him to make an offer to join the government. Similar claims were made by PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang before, reported Bernama in a statement on Tuesday (May 30).

PAS information chief Khairil Nizam Khirudi named DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang as the person who had extended the offer to PAS.
