Mohd Ali appointed Kelantan deputy police chief


KUALA LUMPUR:Commander of the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) Deputy Comm Mohd Ali Tamby (pic) will replace Deputy Comm Victor Sanjos as Kelantan deputy police chief.

Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) secretary Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin, in a statement on Friday (June 2), said DCP Victor would take over DCP Mohd Ali’s post as Esscom Commander.

She said Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7) principal assistant director Senior Asst Comm Datuk Mohamad Noor Yusuf Ali has been appointed Pahang Crime Prevention and Community Security Department head.

SAC Mohamad Noor will replace SAC Noor Hisam Nordin who will be appointed as the Commandant of the Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre, she said, adding that all the appointments will come into effect this July 3.- Bernama
