Boy, 13, nabbed for driving truck in Shah Alam

A 13-year-old boy was detained by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) for driving a Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) lorry in Shah Alam, Sinar Harian reported.

Selangor JPJ director Datuk Khairul Khar Yahya said the boy was detained at 12.20pm along Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari by a patrol team.

The boy was behind the wheel of the lorry with his 15-year-old brother.

Initial investigations revealed that the lorry was owned by the boy’s family and he had been driving it “part-time" after school.
