A HINDU priest in Telangana, India, burned his lover alive after she asked him to marry her, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Sai Krishna, 36, already had a wife and child. His lover, Apsara, 30, and him became close and soon started an affair.
Apsara then became pregnant and agreed to terminate the pregnancy at Sai Krishna’s insistence.
She then started demanding the priest marry her as promised, which he continued to refuse.
The couple then met at a cowshed and when Apsara brought up marriage again, Sai Krishna struck and beat her up.
He proceeded to burn her alive behind the temple where he worked and buried her under two lorry loads of sand.
The police investigation uncovered the truth and Sai Krishna was arrested for murder after admitting to his crime.
