KUALA LUMPUR: A motorcyclist going against traffic led to another motorcyclist falling to his death when he tried to avoid the oncoming motorcycle.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail, in a statement Wednesday (June 14), said that the victim, aged in his 60s, was thrown off his high-powered motorcycle at the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Highway (SUKE) after trying to avoid the suspect who had gone against the flow of traffic.

The motorcycle crashed into the divider and the victim fell 30m to his death, ACP Mohd Azam added.

"His body was found near the Sungai Klang SMART control centre. CCTV cameras caught the suspect leaving the scene and efforts are underway to trace the motorcyclist down," he said.
