The Johor Mentri Besar added that the new medical officers would help ease the burden of current staff and increase service efficiency at the two public hospitals.
"Some 243 additional medical staff will be arriving at Johor's two main public hospitals here. About 33 of them are expected to arrive at HSI this week.
"In July, HSI will also be getting 60 more medical staff while 150 new medical staff will be sent to HSA," he added.
