State polls: Be responsible and don't break the rules, says Sultan Sharafuddin

KLANG: Selangor's Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah advised candidates in the upcoming state polls and their supporters to be responsible and adhere to all relevant rules and regulations.

"Candidates and their supporters must not play up racial and other sensitive issues that can damage harmony and unity amongst the people," said Sultan Sharafudfin in his royal address after the proclamation of the dissolution of the Selangor State Assembly.

He also reminded candidates and their supporters to not defame their opponents while campaigning.
