Car left unscathed after crashing through wall in Penang

GEORGE TOWN: Residents of an apartment in Jelutong here were amazed after a car crashed through a wall in the parking lot but did not appear to sustain much damage.

In photos and videos that have since gone viral, the vehicle is seen protruding through a hole in the wall with its two front wheels hanging out.

Debris from the broken wall can be seen on the floor below but the front bumper of the car remained intact.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

It is learnt that the driver had stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake, causing the car to lurch forward and break through the wall on the first floor of the apartment's parking lot on Sunday (June 18).

Internet users were left in awe by the incident, with many commenting that it was no surprise this particular type of car, which is ubiquitous on Malaysian roads, was involved in yet another bizarre incident.
