Azizul Azmi sworn in as Court of Appeal judge


PUTRAJAYA: High Court Judge Datuk Azizul Azmi Adnan took his oath of office and allegiance as Court of Appeal Judge here on Wednesday (June 21).

According to a statement from the Office of the Chief Registrar, Federal Court, the ceremony took place at the Palace of Justice.

Born in Selangor, Azizul, 53, was appointed Judicial Commissioner on July 1, 2014 and High Court Judge on January 30, 2017.

He served as Kuala Lumpur High Court Judge from January 30, 2017 to December 1, 2019 before going on a transfer to the Seremban High Court where he served from December 2, 2019 to June 13, 2023.

Azizul was also a lawyer for the Securities Commission from 1993 to 1997 as well as Commerce International Merchant Bankers Berhad from 1997 to 2002. - Bernama
