Dr Wee welcomes new MCA members

PETALING JAYA: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has welcomed 41 new members to the party.

In a Facebook post, Dr Wee said he had met the new members during a Johor MCA training workshop in Yong Peng.

The workshop was held to introduce the new members to MCA's history, especially its role in nation building.

"Welcome to the 41 new members who just joined MCA, many of whom are young people.

"This workshop is meant to introduce members to the rich history of MCA, the important role that MCA has been playing in nation building before and after the country achieved independence and the future direction.

"Let us all continue to work for the interests of the country!" he posted on Saturday (June 24).
