Tax deadline set for businesses

PETALING JAYA: The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) has set June 30 for manual submission and July 15 for efiling of income tax returns for businesses in 2022.

Taxpayers can refer to the Borang Nyata (BN) for 2023, which can be accessed and downloaded in Bahasa Malaysia at https//www.hasil.gov.my/media/lq5fu3zd/20230324-program-memfail-borang-nyata-bn-bagi-tahun-2023.pdf or https://www.hasil.gov.my/media/wm2oviph/20230324-return-form-filing-programme-for-the-year-2023-pdf in English.

In a statement yesterday, LHDN said all taxpayers are advised to submit the BN and pay the remaining tax payment during the stipulated period to avoid penalties.

They are also advised to fill in their latest accurate personal and bank details to ease the process of refund payments, if any.
