Mum lodges report after woman did not return from work


GEORGE TOWN: A woman has been reported missing after her father sent her to work at Valdor in South Seberang Prai on Saturday (June 24) morning.

Koh Lih Yee, 23, from Jawi, was nowhere to be seen after her father went to pick her up at 1pm the same day after sending her at 8am.

It is learnt that the company records showed she clocked out at 8.28am.

Based on a police report made by her mother, Koh allegedly sent a message through a WeChat application apologising to her parents before stating that she wanted to live on her own.

The report was made at Sungai Bakap police station on Sunday (June 25).
