Ipoh police CID office catches fire


IPOH: A fire broke out at the Criminal Investigation Department office at the Ipoh police headquarters here.

According to Perak Fire and Rescue Department operation deputy director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, they received the distress call at 3.14pm on Tuesday (June 27).

“The office is located on the second floor of the department building.

"Based on our early investigation, at least 40% of the room was caught on fire.

“We are still trying to put out the fire,” he said.
