Teen’s leg gets stuck in drain cover in Semporna


KOTA KINABALU: Firefighters helped freed a 13-year-old girl when her leg got stuck in the metal drain cover at SMK Tagasan, Semporna on Monday (July 3).

The Fire and Rescue Department received a report at 4.07pm alerting the predicament involving the secondary school student.

“The victim slipped and got her leg stuck in the metal drain cover.

“The team successfully freed her and after ensuring there are no other risks, the operation ended at 4.34pm,” said a department spokesman.
