Johor Ruler grants audience to new IGP, wife


JOHOR BARU: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has granted an audience to newly-minted Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain and his wife Puan Sri Zainah Othman.

According to a statement posted on Sultan Ibrahim’s official Facebook page, the meeting between the Ruler and IGP was held at Istana Bukit Serene here on Saturday (July 8).

Also present were Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim and Che' Puan Besar Khaleeda Bustamam.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy IGP Comm Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay and his wife, Datin Seri Zalena Mohd Ariffin, as well as state deputy police chief Deputy Comm M. Kumar and his wife, S. Santi.

The Ruler also treated his guests to a luncheon.

Razarudin was appointed as the IGP while Ayob Khan was appointed as his deputy, effective June 23.
