Yemeni man nabbed for allegedly groping two teens at Subang Jaya mall

SUBANG JAYA: A Yemeni man was arrested after he allegedly groped two university students at a makeup shop here.

In a statement on Saturday (July 8), Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said that the two girls, aged 17 and 18, were at a makeup shop in Sunway Pyramid on July 6 at the time of the incident.

"The 20-year-old unemployed suspect was caught after the victims filed complaints to the Sunway auxiliary police. Further checks on the man showed that he held no identification papers. He has been remanded until July 20," he said.

ACP Wan Azlan added that the case is being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code for using force with intent to outrage the victim's modesty.
