KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) is expected to contest at least 31 seats in the upcoming six state elections, says Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub.

The Amanah deputy president said of the 245 state assembly seats up for grabs, the party would contest seven in Kelantan and two in Penang.

"In Selangor, Amanah will contest nine seats, while in Negri Sembilan, we will contest three.

"Terengganu may have three or four seats, and seven or eight in Kedah," he said during a press conference after visiting Econsave supermarket in Setapak on Tuesday (July 11).
