Injured climber rescued, carried down Mt Kinabalu


KOTA KINABALU: A 21-year-old climber who suffered pains on both legs were carried down Mount Kinabalu by the Mountain Search and Rescue (Mosar) team on Thursday (July 13).

Mosar, which is a unit under the Fire and Rescue Department, received the report at 3.45pm and a team of four Mosar personnel were sent to the location to help him.

One of them carried the climber via piggyback from KM4 of Mt Kinabalu down to Timpohon Gate (entrance of the mountain).
