SELAYANG: The National cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2022 exam is 2.82, the highest in the examination's history.
Malaysian Examinations Council chairman Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Ekhwan Toriman (pic) said this is an improvement compared to 2021 when the CGPA was 2.79.

"The National CGPA this year is the highest since the STPM began," he said when announcing the results analysis at the council's office on Thursday (July 13).
He said 1,184 candidates (2.84%) of the candidates scored a perfect CGPA of 4.00, also an increase from last year when it was 874 candidates.
A total of 41,701 candidates sat for all three semesters' exams for STPM 2022.
