Sanusi expected to be charged on July 18

PETALING JAYA: Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor is expected to be charged on Tuesday (July 18).

Checks on the https://efs.kehakiman.gov.my/ website showed that Muhammad Sanusi's cases have been registered at two separate Selayang Sessions Courts before judges Nor Rajiah Mat Zin and Osman Affendi Mohd Shalleh at 9am.

It is believed that Muhammad Sanusi, who is also Perikatan Nasional elections director, will be charged due his statement that had allegedly insulted the Selangor royal institution.

Efforts are underway to get confirmation from the police.

Previously, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said that Bukit Aman CID's 3R Task Force was conducting the probe on Muhammad Sanusi for touching on issues involving race, religion and royalty (3R) after a video showed him allegedly belittling the appointment of Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari by the Selangor Ruler.
