A PICTURE of a baby’s swollen hand after he had supposedly received treatment at Hospital Melaka has gone viral, resulting in the authorities stepping in to investigate, Kosmo! reported.
The photo was shared online by Mohamad Izwan, who claimed that his nephew’s hand had swelled up at the hospital.
“The work of Hospital Melaka. Where did they learn medicine? Until the baby’s hands can swell? This is due to negligence by Hospital Melaka,” he posted on social media..
In response, Melaka health, human resources and unity committee chairman Ngwe Hee Sem said he had instructed Hospital Melaka director Dr Zaharimah Abdul Kadir to investigate the matter.“I read on social media about his (Mohamad Izwan) allegations against Hospital Melaka. As the health executive councillor, I have already ordered the hospital director to conduct an investigation,” he told reporters when met.
> Singer Sufian Suhaimi expressed his displeasure at people criticising his girlfriend for not wearing a hijab in their photos posted online, reported Berita Harian.
He said he had never forced his girlfriend to follow any guidelines and he believes that their meeting and matchmaking was by fate.
“I personally take note of netizens’ views and do self-reflection every time. I always hope for the best and if the criticisms can lead to something good, I will accept it.
“I had set no criteria for a desired partner as I believe every match is God’s will. I just hope my personal matters do not get unnecessarily mixed with my business,” said Sufian, who also owns a business that sells pillows for babies.“As long as it is not an insulting or vile comment, we accept it with an open heart,” he said.
