Dr Wee pays last respects to Yong Peng Malay grassroots leader Azeman Ariffin


PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong attended the funeral of Yong Peng Malay grassroots leader Azeman Ariffin.

"It is with a heavy heart that I am here to visit the late Azeman who is a grassroots leader in Taman JPN.

"I just visited his stall on June 25 with Yong Peng constituents to savour the various dishes and special satay," the Ayer Hitam MP said in a Facebook post Saturday (July 22).

"Azeman has helped the Yong Peng assemblyman and I in carrying out our duties as the people's representatives," the MCA president said.

Dr Wee added that Azeman's demise was a big loss to the people of Yong Peng.

"My condolences to the family and hope his soul rests in peace," added Dr Wee.
