KOTA TINGGI: The body of a 42-year-old man was found two days after going missing.

The deceased remains were found in a crashed vehicle at KM16 of Jalan Bandar Penawar-Punggai here.

Kota Tinggi OCPD Supt Hussin Zamora said the victim was reported missing by his family when he did not return home two days ago.

"The body was found by the public who saw a crashed vehicle 40m away from the road in the bush.

"Investigations revealed that the victim was heading towards Punggai and is believed to have fallen asleep at the wheel before crashing," he said in a statement on Saturday (July 29).
