Boy, 9, found dead at a house in Taiping


IPOH: A nine-year-old boy was found dead at a house in Taman Panglima Assam Kumbang in Taiping.

Taiping OCPD Asst Comm Razlam Ab Hamid said they received an emergency call on Sunday (July 30) at about 11am.

"The police and an ambulance rushed to the location and confirmed the boy's death.

"The body was taken to the Taiping Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death," he said in a statement.

"The police have classified the case as sudden death following initial probe," he said, urging the public to report incidents of crime to the police.
