State polls: Negri Perikatan will put up a good fight, says Ahmad Faizal

IPOH: Perikatan Nasional will put up a good fight against Pakatan Harapan in Negri Sembilan, says Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu (pic).

The Negri Sembilan Perikatan chairman said they have a team of candidates capable of forming the state government.

"I am satisfied with our election machinery and believe we will have a good campaign.

"I believe Pakatan and Barisan Nasional will need to work hard because we are serious," he said at a press conference after attending a ceremony to welcome new Perak Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) members at their headquarters in Meru Raya on Sunday (July 30).

"We are not contesting half-heartedly and not as a warning," added Ahmad Faizal.
