State polls: Amirudin to outline PH-BN manifesto for Selangor

SHAH ALAM: Selangor caretaker mentri besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari will outline what can be expected if Pakatan Harapan and its partner coalition Barisan Nasional manage to secure the people's mandate in the upcoming state polls.

Aptly titled, Tawaran Kita Selangor: 5 Tekad untuk 5 Tahun (Our offer to Selangor: Five determinations for five years), Amirudin is expected to disclose the socio-economic and development programmes as well as the proposed initiatives for the next five years.

The event scheduled to be held at the Dewan Raja Muda Musa in Shah Alam later on Monday (July 31) evening will be attended by all the Pakatan and Barisan candidates contesting in the state election.

Selangor Umno chief Datuk Megat Zulkarnain Omardin was quoted as saying recently that the initiatives would be those collaboratively carried out by both coalitions.

He had added in a news report that Barisan's experience and Pakatan's ideas will be incorporated and worked on so that what is offered can be made better.

Currently, Selangor has 44 socio-economic programmes covering many areas including bereavement support.
