RESIDENTS of a Tamil Nadu town, who saw a pack of dogs attacking a bundle, were horrified to find the bodies of two female babies wrapped within, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Passers-by in Mettuppatti, Dindigul district, noticed dogs fighting over something in a trash bin and further inspection led to the horrifying discovery.

Eventually the police arrived to investigate and found the dogs had already got to the bodies and were trying to eat them. One of the infants was missing its head.

The remains were sent to the district hospital for an autopsy. Police are looking for the person who left the babies there.
