Family members beat rapist to death

THE father and uncle of a young girl in India surrendered to the police after beating to death the man who raped her, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The rapist, aged 35, worked as a cement mixing machine operator at a construction site in Odisha.

When he noticed a young girl standing outside her house nearby, he kidnapped and sexually assaulted her.

The girl’s father and uncle, who found out about the assault, confronted the man and delivered a brutal beating. The man bled to death on the spot. Following this, both men surrendered themselves at the local police station.

The two are said to be waiting for an order to be charged while the rape victim is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
