Negri is a rich state but poorly governed by Pakatan, claims Peja

JEMPOL: Negri Sembilan is a state filled with riches yet governed poorly, claims Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu (pic).

"It is a state full of natural resources and in a strategic location. Unfortunately today, it is not governed properly by Pakatan Harapan who is now friends with Umno," the Negri Perikatan Nasional chief said during a ceramah at Felda Palong 2 here on Wednesday (Aug 2).

Ahmad Faizal also claimed the cooperation between Umno and DAP, who was part of Pakatan Harapan, was just a facade.

"Umno (members) have come to me saying they have to act like they are friends with DAP.

"DAP (members) also said they have to act in front of Umno.

"How can they both govern the state following the elections?" he asked.

He added that there was now a second chance for voters

"We have our forward candidates that can govern the state. Give us the chance to serve, as Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin did when he was the Prime Minister," he said.

Perikatan, he said, was also concerned at the current leadership of the country, which was why Muhyiddin had to travel to all states involved in the coming state elections.

Six states namely Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Penang, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu would hold their polls on Aug 12, with early polling on Aug 8.
