Deputy IGP heads list of Pahang Sultan’s birthday awards and honours list


KUANTAN: Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay is among 24 recipients of the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) in conjunction with the Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah's birthday.

The award, which carries the title "Datuk Seri", was also bestowed upon Bukit Aman Special Branch director Comm Datuk Mohd Khalid Ismail, Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department director Comm Datuk Aidi Ismail, Bukit Aman Management director Comm Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim, Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain and Pahang police chief Comm Datuk Yahaya Othman.

The other recipients of the SSAP were Fire and Rescue Department director-general Datuk Abdul Wahab Mat Yasin, Fomema chairman Tengku Abu Bakar Ahmad Al-Marhum Tengku Arif Bendahara Tengku Abdullah, executive coach Datuk Indera Rizdwan Abdullah @ Chander Naidu, Trinidad Group president and chief executive officer Datuk Indera Omar Mohan Abdullah, Pahang state secretary Datuk Indera Zulkifli Yaacob and Inland Revenue Board director-general Datuk Dr Mohd Nizom Sairi.

Also receiving the SSAP were UMW Holdings Berhad president and chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Fuaad Mohd Kenali, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad managing director Datuk Iskandar Mizal Mahmood, Primadona Solutions Sdn Bhd director Puan Sri Wong Yoke Lian, Enggang Holdings Sdn Bhd director Datuk Muthanna Abdullah, The Habitat Foundation chairman Datuk Harry Allyn Cockrell and Puan Sri Wong Hon Yee.

Paradigm Land Development director Datuk Mohan C Sinnathamby, Geopancar Sdn Bhd chairman Datuk Yap Teck Fui, Eu Yan Sang Malaysia chairman Datuk Leong Kwei Chun, Destiny Group of Companies managing director Lau Hieng Ung, Tunas Rupat Follow Me Express Sdn Bhd managing director Huang Chong Huat and Southern Edible Oil Industries (M) Sdn Bhd chairman Low Boon Lai also received the SSAP.

Two diplomats received the honorary Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP), which which carries the title "Datuk Indera". They were Singapore High Commissioner to Malaysia Vanu Gopala Menon and Indonesian ambassador to Malaysia Hermono.

The three other recipients of the SIMP were Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara Mejar-Jeneral Datuk Zahari Mohd Ariffin, Finance Ministry acquisition department secretary Ab Rahim Ab Rahman and Land Surveyors Board chief executive officer Datuk Ismail Harun.

Six individuals were conferred the Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP), which carries the "Datuk" title.

They were Seraya Era Sdn Bhd director Tengku Puteri Marina Tengku Ibrahim, Datuk Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Raja Ahmad Baharuddin Shah, Environment Department director-general Wan Abdul Latiff Wan Jaffar, 4th Division commander Mejar-Jeneral Anuar Abdul Wahab, former Sewerage Services Department director-general Ahmad Rozian Othman and Pelaburan Harta Komersial director Ajay Soni.

A total of 30 individuals received the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), which carries the title "Datuk".

They included Ipoh High Court judge Justice Bhupinda Singh Gurcharan Singh Preet, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission forensics technology division director Husin Mohamad Nasir, Bukit Aman Special Branch principal assistant director Deputy Comm Tan Beng Yeow, Bukit Aman CID principal assistant director Senior Asst Comm S.Shanmugamoorthy, Kuala Lumpur Pulapol commandant Senior Asst Comm Noor Hisam Nordin, Lynas Malaysia Sdn Bhd human resources, administration and organisation development senior manager Jumaat Mansor, Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia chief executive officer Capt Norazman Mahmud, Mhy Properties Australia managing director Wan Hazreek Putra Hussain Yusuf, NS Industry Supply Sdn Bhd managing director Wong Boon Ping and Ebona Trading Sdn Bhd managing director Tan Boon Hee.

Five people received the Setia Ahmad Shah Pahang (SAP), six the Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP), six the Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP), seven the Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP), five the Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC), six the Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (PKT) and four the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK).
