AN auxiliary policeman in Johor Baru has uploaded a video on TikTok of a purported supernatural entity (pontianak), reported Harian Metro.
Ikhmal, 29, said the video was authentic and was recorded by him using a mobile phone.
He said he came across the pontianak while patrolling the area with a colleague in the wee hours of the morning.
“We heard a sound and it looked like someone entering the bushes. Since it is a restricted area, we went in to inspect,” Ikhmal said, adding that he was shocked with what he saw and that he managed to record it.
“Some shared their own supernatural experiences in the comment section. However, some said I uploaded the video for content purposes. It’s up to viewers to believe or not,” he said.

The 27-year-old, who starred in the movie Pulau, said she never expected to face a court case that would affect her reputation.
“I know there are comments from netizens about me over my decision to continue to fight this case. I think maybe other people won’t choose this path.
“I really love and care about my career. I would not do anything that could destroy the career I’ve built all my life,” she said.

Stall owner, Ho Kam Seong, 31, said a man had approached his stall, located near the highway exit, at about 3pm on Thursday.
