Is Jennie Kim leaving Blackpink? Fans wonder

JENNIE Kim, a member of K-pop group Blackpink, has been removed from the girl group’s official website, major Chinese dailies reported.

This has led to speculation that the singer-actress will be leaving the group soon before their contracts with YG Entertainment end this month.

Dubbed the most successful South Korean girl group internationally, Blackpink just celebrated its seventh anniversary on Tuesday.

Fans throughout the world had a surprise as speculation of all four members – Kim Ji-soo (Jisoo), Jennie, Lalisa Manobal (Lisa) and Roseanne Park (Rose) – renewing their contracts had just surfaced recently.

Earlier, it was said that only Rose would stay on. But Jisoo changed her mind after the company acknowledged her romance with actor Ahn Bo-hyun.

> China Press reported that a pinhole camera was found in a public toilet located in a commercial area in Kota Syahbandar, Melaka.

A customer discovered the hidden camera after spotting a dim light flashing in a black plastic bag placed at the floor drain underneath the water closet past 8pm on Aug 4.

The customer brought it to the traders, who handed it over to the management.

A police report was lodged soon after.
