PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has emerged as the winner for the Hulu Kelang state seat in Selangor.
The Selangor Perikatan Nasional candidate defeated his opponent Juwairiya Zulkifli from Pakatan Harapan.
"I am on my way to Dewan AU2," said Azmin in a short text message when contacted.
Dewan Serbaguna MPAJ in AU2 was the main tallying centre for Hulu Kelang.
The former minister secured 25,597 votes against Juwairiya who managed to get 23,980 votes, the Election Commission announced.
