State polls: Jalaluddin retains Pertang state seat


PORT DICKSON: Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias has successfully retained the Pertang seat for Barisan Nasional.

The Negri Sembilan Umno chief and incumbent beat Perikatan Nasional’s Amirudin Hassan with a majority of 2,790 votes.

Jalaluddin received 5,634 votes while Amirudin received 2,844 votes.

A total of 12,897 voters are registered in the Pertang state seat.
